June 23, 2020: We started the long process of making some much needed improvements at the farm today... it feels daunting at times because just the basic maintenance is super time consuming . Jim reminded me (when I felt so overwhelmed thinking about all the work ahead of us) "how do you eat an elephant...? One bite at a time" -
Well we have a lot of bites to take to get this place looking better! Even so, it was a beautiful breezy evening and putting in a few hours of work felt good. We took down some overgrown bushes next to the house and Alex worked on the mowing. Here's Graham on the tractor with my Dad.
And Alex was mowing while we removed bushes.
